About us

We are the Collegiate Black Legislators (CBL) — a group of students from HBCUs committed to increasing civic literacy and political engagement in the Black community. Our mission is to empower our peers through education, awareness, and action.

What started as campus conversations has grown into real advocacy. We believe when young Black voices are informed and involved, they drive meaningful change. This year, we’re proud to represent at the 2025 Annual Legislative Conference, contributing to national discussions that shape our future.
